Every year, new phones are eagerly anticipated. With technology in mobile phones advancing incredibly quickly, the new Samsung Galaxy being an example of this, many people don't know how they ever did without their phones. But what are some of the phones that we can expect to see in 2012? Of course, the new Samsung Galaxy is one not to be missed, potentially knocking the iPhone off its pedestal. The new Samsung Galaxy will be called the Nexus. It has an impressive albeit over-sized Super AMOLED screen and dual core processor.
Besides the new Samsung Galaxy there is the LG Spectrum with an advanced high definition IPS screen. It is one of the most stunningly crisp screens that have even been made available, allowing even the smallest fonts to be read with easy. Then, we can expect the Motorola Droid 4, with a QWERTY keyboard. One of the greatest things about this specific phone is the accessories that come with it, including a vehicle navigation dock for example. LG wasn't quite finished yet, releasing the Viper as well. This is one of the more affordable new phones, which is its main advantage. Sony should not be forgotten either, of course, and they will bring out the new XPeria Ion, which is said to be the ultimate gaming phone as it will also play games from other platforms. It is not clear exactly which platform this will be (PlayStation 1, Tablet and so on). HTC will bring out its Titan II, which is a 16 megapixel phone making it particularly interesting for those who use their phone for photographs. Of course, no list would be complete with mentioning Nokia, who are bringing out the Lumia 900, offering a return to Nokia's greatness. Other brands bringing out phones include Huawei and Lenovo. These lesser known brands have some fantastic phones on offer, including the world's thinnest smart phone (the Huawei Ascend) and an introduction to Intel processors through Lenova. Rumor has it that Intel has also entered discussions with Motorolla, so watch this space. The other impressive thing about the Lenova is its battery life.
So, 2012 is set to be a year of exciting developments on the mobile phone market. With all producers trying to offer that little something extra over their competitors, you are certain to be able to find a phone that is just right for you. Whether you are looking for excellent photographs, brilliant screens, a fantastic gaming experience, affordability or superb processing, there will be a phone there that suits your needs. And with so much competition on the market, prices of phones are also coming down tremendously, meaning there really is no reason as to why you shouldn't own the latest smart phone.
